Ambush the Chariot

These are just a couple posters for upcoming shows at The Warehouse. The Ambush flyer is an illustration i scanned in out of a Disney Encylopedia I bought at a yard sale a few weeks ago with my friend Isabelle. Aslo my band Amity is playing that show.

Cocoon

Messing around with photoshop last night, was supposed to be working on something else, and this just happened.

When I first started graphic design it was more about the grundge look. I was really into using other peoples brushes and what not. Then i learned how to make my own brushes, i scanned in all sorts of things like spray paint, old pictures, etc. Then i moved on to lighting, i love love messing with layers and their properties.

Anyways, saying all that. Lately I've been thinking about the basics and the past and where I've been and what I've done. And I wanted to start doing art like I used to. just spontaneous and crazy.

Things I love and inspire my art: Wood and Trees, Spray paint, Light, Vintage, Splatter, Color, The 1970's, Outer Space, Old Children's Books, The Woods, Music... and so much more.

Falling Away From Me

Farewell Nevertheless

So my brothers in Nevertheless are finally giving up, hahaha. Jus playin. I love these guys so much. One of the first big shows I ever played was with them at Fathom in downtown Chattanooga. Those shows are priceless. Its been great being friends with all of them and I know it doesnt stop here. I get the pleasure to play with Aj on the regular at church. Anyways cant wait for this show its going to be great!

So Long Forgotten

About a month or so i got to spend a month with some of my really good friends from illinois. So long forgotten was recording their record right up the road from my apartment. Ive known the guys for a while but never really got to hang out. Anyways that asked me to design a poster for their shows at cornerstone.

Feed the Lions had to postpone our cd release. Basically cause were still not done with it. hahaha. Anyways I finished guitar a few weeks ago and we will be finishing up everything else up real soon. But the real reason Im posting this is to talk about the artwork. Its gonna be an art book made by me illustrating each song with art for each song. I think its gonna be pretty neat Ive always wated to do this and what better time than now. Heres a shot from recording guitar its my friend Craigs 80s Strat.

SPIROGRAPH!

Ive been looking for a spirograph for about 4 years no kidding. Well the other day i was hangin out at my friend Alexs house. And guess what he found in his freaking attic! A SPIROGRAPH! And he gave it to me! Alex your freaking awesome!

I just finished up the artwork for Dead End Stanleys EP, Beggars Beggars. I took the picture myself using my friend John Hodge's Nikon D something.... anyways. The picture is of my friend Erin. Sean from Dead End Stanley hand wrote Beggars Beggars on the title, hes pretty proud of it.

Last Within Shows

Within has been a part of life for what like 6 years now..... At first i was a fan. then i played guitar. then i played bass. man within has been a huge part of life and will always hold a special place in my heart. but all things must come to and end.
